Fat Loss 4 Idiots Review

Fat Loss 4 Idiots has once again become extremely popular, especially since they have introduced an ‘add on’ package to their basic plan. To be honest, I had almost forgotten about this diet until recently when I discovered that there seems to be a ‘twittering’ frenzy going on!
There is a lot of information out there on the fat loss for idiots program, a lot of it is good with many thousands of people claiming huge weight losses, but there are also quite a few bad ’stories’ too and I feel it is only fair to air all sides here.
Fat Loss 4 Idiots claim that you can lose 9 pounds in 11 days. It certainly seems true for a lot of people who have been on this diet but there has also been disappointment with only a 2 or 3 pound loss recorded (although I have to say that even this loss is remarkable and, in my view, probably safer). I have not found a comment by anyone claiming that they did not lose weight at all on this diet.
Inevitably, weight loss will slow down but it is important that you continue to eat according to the plan; the idea of the 11 day on 3 day off cycle is to ensure that your metabolism doesn’t slow down too much. For this reason, it is also important to include an exercise plan to keep your engine revved.
What I do not like about Fat Loss for Idiots?
Having had a personal look at the plan, I have to admit that some of the food choices are quite monotonous and bland. For example, some meals only include cottage cheese or chicken as a whole meal. One day each cycle, you can only eat fruit the whole day. Many people have been put off by this as their taste buds crave a little variety.
There is no portion control. You are supposed to eat until satisfied. Now, for a lot of people who have been overeating for many years, the ’satisfaction’ signals may not be as strong as they should be. I personally would prefer to see measured portions to retrain the signals between eyes and stomach.
Although this diet is great for those looking to lose weight quickly, I am still wary that there will be muscle as well as fat loss considering that an exercise program is lacking. This could spell trouble when ‘normal’ eating patterns are resumed. This appears to be a ‘diet’ rather than a ‘way of eating’ and would doubt many people could stick to it long term.
What are the Benefits of the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Plan?
The Fat Loss for Idiots plan does include lean proteins, fruit and vegetables with the fat coming from good sources such as cottage cheese. There are also some starchy carbohydrates and you are encouraged to drink lots of water.
After 11 days you get to ‘cheat’ for 3 where you can eat whatever you want – but you must get back onto the 11 day plan straight after to continue getting results.
This is so that your body doesn’t recognize that you are reducing calories. This idea isn’t new and there are a number of diets based around this principle. Jon Benson, the fitness expert and author has a diet called The Every Other Day Diet which I highly recommend you have a look at. You can access my fact sheet here.
Once registered on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet, you are given access to a ‘meal generator’; quite simply you plug in the foods that you like to eat and it will churn out a meal plan based around these. You also receive a handbook with instructions on how to eat, how not to eat and goal setting.
What about the Exercise on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Plan?
Yes, I have come back to this again!
Although Fat Loss For Idiots recommend that you get some additional exercise to help with weight loss, the low intensity exercise of 30 minutes per day that they suggest, in my opinion, will not encourage your body to hold onto it’s muscle mass, nor will it really help much with weight loss. I understand that a lot of people on this plan will like the idea that they ‘don’t have to exercise to get results’ but it really is a necessary component to include a decent amount of cardio and strength training for long term weight loss.
How Much Does Fat Loss for Idiots Cost?
At the time of writing this review, there is a cost of $39 for the program and if you click on this link → 50% discount←, you will pay only $16.95 for the optional ‘add on’ of the ‘Beyond Calories’ e-book, making it a relatively cheap diet to follow, especially as you are not required to buy ’special’ foods or supplements.
Will Fat Loss 4 Idiots Work For Me?
Fat Loss 4 Idiots promises that they will return your money if it doesn’t. Considering that the plan is dead easy to follow and you don’t have to buy any foods that you wouldn’t normally buy and you are not ‘required’ to exercise, I can’t see why anyone following the plan would not lose weight. Indeed, there are far more success stories than not. However, I would not recommend the plan during pregnancy, for youngsters or those with medical issues such as heart conditions and, as always, I would suggest that you visit your health practitioner first to discuss whether they feel it is a good option for you. I also would not suggest that you follow this plan if you do exercise a lot – in my estimation, the calorie level would just be too low.
Recommendation for Fat Loss 4 Idiots
The popularity of this plan itself, lends me to recommend Fat Loss 4 Idiots. It does work, there is no doubt. A quick weight loss is exactly what many people are looking for and this diet allows for that without having to take pills or potions or going hungry and it also means that you are doing something to reduce your weight. It is cheap and very easy to follow, and is based around healthy food.
And the simple fact is that at $39 fat loss 4 idiots is much cheaper than even a couple of weeks of Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers.
